1       Alternative: Wireless Update (OTA Update)

If IOS 5 is already installed on your device  ,  we can update it without using iTunes.

When updating a wireless device  the battery of your device mspy iphone should be at the level of  at least %50 or  be connected to charge.

We can start wireless update from the menu Settings-> General->Software Update.

The biggest advantage of the wireless update is to be downloaded of a updating  file 50-100MB instead of being installed of a file 500-700MB like being  in the updates made with iTunes .

In this way, the update process is very short.

Of course, to do software update as wireless is not the only option.

It can be made with the conventional technique through iTunes.

2       Alternative: Updating with iTunes

If your device version is not İos 5 ,namely it is the previous version ; the only alternative to install İos 6.1 is only iTunes .

In the meantime, it  should be so-to-date version of iTunes on your computer  to install İos 6.1 ,namely the version needs to be at least 10.7.

1.Backup and Transfer Purchases

There can be sometimes some problems in these software updates, so the users need to do the process of Restore.

2.Updating with the USB cable via iTunes.

Firstly, you should attribute your device to your computer with USB cable through iTunes for the updating İos 6.1

And then , you should click the iPhone icon in the left menu of iTunes and then click on the option ‘Check for Updates’ on the screen.

Then, iTunes inform us İos 6.1 is a new version  and asks us if or not we want to download it.
